I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in December of 1972 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. I taught at Creighton Community High School in Creighton Nebraska for one and returned to Lincoln to direct a Dental Screening Program at the open Door health Center. In 1978 I left Lincoln to attend Antioch law School in Washington, DC. As part of my law school studies I interned for Representative John Cavanaugh and work as an administrative aide to the Congressman. Upon graduating from law school I returned to Nebraska and was in house counsel for the Nebraska Association of Public Employees. In 1984 I entered private practice specializing in employment law, criminal law and other civil law areas. In 1988 I started Chapin Law and have had a general practice with my main areas being employment, criminal law both misdemeanor and felony, domestic and family law, bankruptcy law and civil rights and discrimination law areas. I am a member of the Lincoln bar an Association and a member in good standing with the Nebraska Bar Association.
I have three children who remain in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. I enjoy running, golf and sailing.
